Logo após a
aprovação na seleção, veio o primeiro convite para Missão de Paz, os
companheiros do IGPM me ligaram e perguntaram se eu era voluntário para o Sudão
do Sul, respondi de pronto, estou a disposição para qualquer missão, até a
missão da Líbia.
Alguns dias
após a SG da PMDF me ligou e perguntou se eu era voluntário para a Missão de
Paz, neste momento descobri que por questões administrativas foram enviadas
para a PMDF as vagas da Guiné-Bissau. Como sempre me coloquei como voluntário e
pronto.
Durante o
Estágio presencial fui solicitado o envio de todos os documentos para o envio
para Nova York, enviei toda a documentação como EASP, MS-2, Passaporte e
certificados de curso e aguardei.
No final do mês
de outubro recebi a ligação em meu celular durante uma aula do Curso de Altos
estudos que estou participando, marcando a data para a entrevista e confirmação
de alguns dados. A entrevista foi marcada para 10 dias depois. Recebi ainda um
e-mail com um vasto material para poder estudar, reports, SSR, entre outros.
Mas 4 dias
antes do marcado os colegas da UNIOGBISS, me ligaram e perguntaram se poderiam
adiantar a entrevista, a solicitação foi prontamente aceita por mim e marcamos
para 4 horas mais tarde, pois estava em reunião com o Comandante Geral da PMDF.
Exatamente na
hora combinada eu estava pronto com vários documentos ao meu redor e aguardando
a ligação, que aconteceu da forma combinada.
Foram 59
minutos de entrevista, participaram 3 colegas da missão os quais se revezaram
nas perguntas. Estas iam desde perguntas pessoais, passando pelo histórico
colocado no EASP, bem como sobre os documentos da missão.
Confesso tinham
momentos que era difícil entender, pois o nervosismo era grande e algumas vezes
o celular também não ajudava, mas respondi a todas as perguntas, ao termino da
entrevista me foi dada a oportunidade de perguntar e realizei a pergunta que
todos querem saber. Fui aprovado? A resposta foi positiva e me foi informado
que agora eu deveria aguardar o escritório entrar em contato com nosso Estado
Maior para encerrar o processo.
Agora sigo
aguardando este contato, continuo a estudar a aprender tudo sobre a Missão, bem
como o idioma inglês.
The interview
After approved in the selection,
came the first invite to go to a Peace Mission, the IGPM partners called me and
ask me if am I a volunteer to go to South Sudan, I answer at the same time, I’m
in your disposal for any mission, included Libya mission.
Some days after the General
Secretariat called me and ask me again If I am volunteer to the Peace Mission,
at the same time I knew because some administrative changes was send to PMDF
the places of Guiné-Bissau. However I put myself like a volunteer and prepared.
During the preparatory course, I was
asked to send all documents to IGPM, for they send to New York, dispatched all
documents, EASP, MS-2, passport and courses certificates and wait for an
answer.
At the end of the October got a call
in my cell phone, during a course class, that I’m doing, marking the interview
date and confirming some data. The interview was scheduled for 10 days after. I
got an email with attachments to study: reports, SSR and etc.
But, 4 days before the date, the UNGBISS’s
colleagues called me and asked me if we could antedate the interview,
solicitation was accepted for me and we remarked to 4 hours after that moment,
because I was in a reunion with our General Commander.
Exactly in the marked hour I was
prepared with a lot of documents surround me an waiting the call, that happened
like we combined.
Was 59 minutes of interview,
participated 3 colleagues from the mission, that they turns in the questions.
These asks was about personal questions, background in the EASP, as well about
all mission documents.
I Confess, some moments was so hard
to understand, because I was so nervous and sometimes the cell phone not helps,
but I answer all questions, at the end was gave me the opportunity to make
questions an I just ask one, that all like to know. Am I approved? The answer
was positive and they sad to me wait for the office contact our Secretariat to
quit the process.
Now I'm go forward, waiting this
contact, and still study to learn all about the Mission, as well the English
idiom.
